The ground rules
Plain language, because that is how we work. Using this site means you accept these.
A ballpark is a ballpark
The number the quote page shows is a starting estimate built from your answers and our standard price sheet. It is not an offer and it is not a contract. Every house is different, and the firm price comes after the $750 survey, in a written quote priced per phase that you approve before that phase starts. A deposit starts the first phase. If the survey finds something your answers could not have told us, the firm price will differ from the ballpark, and we will show you why.
What we do, and what a licensed contractor does
Software, configuration and moving accounts under your control are our work. Physical low-voltage and alarm work in Florida is done by a licensed contractor, billed at cost or by them directly. The alarm panel stays with its monitoring company; we show its status, we do not replace monitoring.
The monthly plan
A monthly plan means the app watches the house and we respond within the time that plan promises. It is not a life-safety or emergency service. Locks, gates and alarms remain what they are, and nothing on a plan replaces a locksmith, an alarm company or emergency services.
Who can use the forms
You need to be at least 18 and the owner of the house, or acting for the owner. We work only with the owner’s written authorization before touching equipment someone else installed.
The usual
The site is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Miami-Dade County. The privacy note says what we keep about you.
